My first impression of this board book is that it is exceptionally well done. The colors and illustrations are in lovely hues, calling out that there are seven colors of the rainbow and the exact seven shades. This publication goes on to explain how God has painted things in our world like butterflies, flowers, fruit and more. The five senses are touched on and the author reminds readers that the rainbow is God's promise to us. Finally, there is a large pouch mounted inside the back cover that contains a big card with information about the meaning of the rainbow. It also includes some scientific information regarding rainbows, scripture, and well-spoken cultural information. 14 pgs. ~Judy
