Description

With the uprise of robot usage in today's world, domestic robots are becoming increasingly more common and accessible. With this robot kit, one will be able to build a fully operational joystick robot. Included are illustrated step-by-step instructions, all of the plastic robot parts needed for construction, necessary screws and rods, and a small bag of oil. The completed robot can interchange between a two-claw and four-claw head. Two joysticks control the moving arm with 4 axes simultaneously, which are able to move in 8 different directions. The instruction manual gives demonstrations for how a robot like this is helpful in the real world, as well as explains the functions and necessity of the moving parts. The battery terminal requires the use of two D batteries, not included. By creating and operating this small-scale joystick robot, the user will be exposed to hands-on, basic engineering skills. Includes 311 pieces total. Tools that may be needed but are NOT included are as follows: tissue paper (like paper towel or toilet paper), diagonal cutter, cotton swab, phillips screwdriver, two D batteries, cup, and safety glasses. ~ Brianna

Publisher's Description of Joysticks Robotic Arm

This innovative robotic arm applies different mechanical basics. Users can watch how the inner parts work in tandem, such as: connecting rods to pilot the planetarygear system, or gear movement to activate transmission. Unlock the safety switch and turn on the red power button, the robotic arm enters stand-by mode and the rumblingof operation leads you to a mechanical gaming experience. This new arm can be operated by two joysticks to control the 4 axes toward 8 directions simultaneously and easily. Maximize the types of objects to grab by opening the ends, with the interchangeable 2-claws and 4-claws grippers. It can even work as a claw machine! By assembly and hands-on doing, kids can build mechanical knowledge and problemsolving skills. This STEM robotic arm is educational and fun!

• Requires 2 "D" batteries, not included
