A typical week includes reading the chapter, performing the experiment, and review.
As a retired 2nd grade teacher I am disappointed in this book. Most of the reading is way beyond first grade reading and comprehension level. Its too wordy without giving good concrete examples for scientific terms. The reading skill level is way beyond what a first grader could read and if it was being read to them they wouldnt understand most of what is being read. Thankfully I can rely on my background teaching second grade science to bring the concepts in this book more alive. Its already been paid for so we will work with it but would not buy this science program again.

HI previously this course also came with a study notebook that involved cutting, glueing and drawing. Due to a computer crash (before I used the cloud) I lost my pdfs of these. Does this course still come with this? I am wanting to use a again for the baby of the family.
