Copywork, writing from dictation, and a weekly Workshop page provide opportunities to practice word patterns in a meaningful context. Modern Milestones is designed for students in the Word Extension stage of spelling. The focus of the passages in Modern Milestones is on artists, musicians, scientists, and others who have influenced our world since early modern times. This level has been designed to encourage more independent learning on the part of the student, always with the support and encouragement of the instructor.

My kids have done previous levels of this program and we like it. My older child used this level, so we're continuing with the program.
This program really works. After 2 years of using Spelling You See, my 11 year old male student is an excellent speller. It is expensive, but the easiest spelling program for me.
my kids like how this isn't just memorization. It allows them to practice the words as well as highlight certain characteristics of words to help them remember how to spell them.
I love how this program uses phonograms, copy work, and spelling in sentences rather than lists of words. I also love that my kids can do most of it independently!
