My Primary A-Z Spelling Word Journal
The Primary version has 4-8 words under each letter with space for pictures. Facing pages have writing lines (for any words the student wants to add under that letter). Lines are 3/4" with a dotted middle. In the back are helpful pages that list colors, number names (1-20), shapes, months of the year, and days of the week. Colors and numbers are listed with their Spanish equivalent. 64 pg, stapled.
There's probably a better name for these handy journals. Rather than spelling, they seem more like a personal dictionary that a student can use as a writing reference that can be added to. This will be perfect place for those troublesome words that you end up looking up for each writing assignment. These could also be used as the student is learning to read; just "collect" words under each letter. And, I suppose you could actually use them for spelling, too. ~ Janice
