Publisher's Description of World ScrunchMap (24" x 36")
Scrunch and Store this fun and unique product in your pocket, purse, backpack, desk or anywhere! ScrunchMap is water and tear resistant and lasts so much longer than paper maps. There is no need to fold this portable, educational, and scrunchable learning tool!
Looking at a map is a really great way for students to get an idea of their place in the world, but folding and rolling delicate paper can really be a pain. Problem solved! These maps are made from a durable material (kinda like Tyvek - not paper, not plastic, not fabric, but feels like all three at once) that makes it water and tear resistant. The US map includes interstates and major highways, while the World map features continent and country names as well as bodies of water and major cities. When you're done, just scrunch it up and place it inside the included drawstring storage bag. Each map is 36"x24". - Laura
Fun to use, liberating for tactile students who just want to fidget and crumple papers anyway. Hard to believe it packs so small and yet the map ink doesn't wear off. Get one for you classroom or Sunday school and watch the children gather, reach, & engage! Withholding one star because it is not made in a country that respects human rights.

Every homeschooler needs one of these
We love these maps. We've had our Map of the World for years now and just ordered the USA map. We can not say enough good stuff about them. They're so durable. I feel like it's the kind of map every homeschooler or geography loving family should purchase. An investment map that you'll have forever and all the kids will be able to use. I saw a reviewer mention a sticker that ripped his map and I can't say we encountered that with either of ours. If your considering it, buy it! It's the best map we've ever encountered.

Durable
Seems like it will last for more than one kid. Our kids like to scrunch it down into their bag that was provided. The texture is a little weird but it seems like it will last for multiple years.

Pretty good but maybe not complete
My kids love it. It's easy to flatten out after being scrunched. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that Scotland is not labeled. They have it as U.K. so no marking to distinguish between England and Scotland.

awesome
A map that I don't have to fear the kids (toddler mainly) tearing up . it's portable for those moments when we're too far from the wall map or globes.

I have not tried to... I wonder why would you want to, honestly. My son loves to carry it around and it gets wrinkly from all the use, but even though the material is thin, it is super durable (it's survived half the school year with my son haha). Everything is labeled so it is our go to map for everything, and the wrinkles don't prevent you from reading the labeling. Like I said, very durable, and very well done, especially for children who are high energy and excitable.
