General Chemistry uses a mastery-learning method. In this method, students build comprehension by adding new concepts while reviewing and rehearsing key material throughout the year. Very good little Chemistry for the industrious homeschooler!
This is the 2nd year using this book to teach a class for homeschoolers. Love it. Not for the faint-hearted. I require all my potential students to pass a algebra 1 placement test before accepting them. Works really well. Do not skip any of the assignment. Students love Chemistry as a result.
