The smaller format (about 5.5" x 8") makes them great travel companions - they even fit in my purse! Books are unabridged so they vary in length from 200 to 600 pages. Because of their similar size and durable feel, they look great on a bookshelf and would make a great foundation for your personal library. They would also make a great gift for your eager reader.
