To start a round of play, each person is given a group of randomly chosen letter tiles that will be used to create a two-word crossword. In addition, special dice are rolled to determine the criteria that these two words should meet to qualify. For example, one word might need to be a four-letter word that contains one vowel, and the other word could be a five-letter word that describes an action.
Working from their letter tiles, all players will race to see who can first create two words that intersect in a crossword pattern that also meet the criteria for this round. The winner receives a token, and another round is started with new tiles and word criteria. Once a player has won five tokens, they are declared the winner.
