Math Mammoth Grade 4-A Worktext (2020 Edition, Black & White)

My son is thriving in MM. He likes how Maria explains each of the concepts and the “why’s” in multiple ways. He also likes how it’s very cut and dry and to the point. He enjoys math. I like how It works through the concepts gradually and thoroughly that my son can work on it independently. You get a rigorous and complete math curriculum that works well and at an affordable price it’s a win,win in our homeschool.

I can't rate Math Mammoth highly enough. My husband and I grew up learning math the traditional way and muddled our way through, but stll tend to find math and numbers confusing. I did not want that for our children, so I tried to find a better way To teach them about numbers.
I heard that Singapore taught math comprehension so much better and didn't kill your kids love of learning with endless repetion, so we took that route. However I found Singapore to have gaps that I, as a math-challenged teacher, could not fill in. I struggled and gave up many times. Because of this and other factors, my kids and I got years behind in math. :(
I just discovered Math Mammoth this last November, and it truly has been an answer to prayer. We went back to start near the beginning and are cruising through the workbooks and learning more quickly and easily than I would have thought possible! The concepts are clearly and carefully explained and the work is easy for the kids to complete on their own. The amount of repetition is reasonable but easy enough to cut out when not needed. And best of all, math concepts are taught from more than one approach,without being confusing, so the kids can understand things from more than one angle. Great educators deserve higher praise and renown than most other professions and Maria Miller is truly deserving of very high praise and appreciation! She has opened up a world of understanding when it comes to numbers! Thank you so much.
