Fine, I guess
It was fine. I would think there has to be something better out there. I struggled with the language time sections - if kids are not going to memorize how to say thank you in 36 different languages, why even cover it? Why not focus on 9 and repeat them like they do with bible verses? Day two seems very short and like filler work. Overall disappointed.

My Story K
This is one of my favourite Masterbooks courses! It is scheduled for 2 days a week, but you can do both lessons in one day if you have an eager learner. It caters for different learning styles. Children learn about God, His love for the world and families. Children get introduced to basic maps and economy. Faith and character building are like golden threads throughout the course and the lessons trigger great discussions. I love the gentle approach and highly recommend this for young children for an introduction to social studies.

Great Kindergarten Social Studies Course
This is a very well done Kindergarten social studies course. It teaches your child to understand God's love for them and for all of His people. The pictures are so vibrant and engaging. I loved the faith lessons and the scripture cards. I also loved the language lesson in each lesson. My child learned to say words from countries all over the world while also learning where that country was and what the people there looked like. One bonus thing in this book which I loved is the little tidbits of information that I could write in for my child within each lesson: his favorite book, his favorite vacation place, his favorite sport etc. We really loved this book.

Love it!
We've just started My Story K this school year with our Kindergartner but so far we are loving it! As with all Master Books curriculum, it is a gentle easy approach that is extremely user friendly. My 5 year old is SO excited to sit down and work each day. I think all the flashcards are super fun and will help me as we work through the book, but they are a bit advanced for my 5 year old ;)
