Starline Press Science is a character-based, state standards aligned, individualized and independent learning curriculum. Each grade level provides self-directed instruction with minimal teacher supervision. Grades 3-8 complete twelve units (booklets) per year, with a suggested 3-week completion timeframe per booklet. Grades 9-11 complete 10 booklets per year. Each grade level incorporates vocabulary lists, fill in the blank questions, chapter reviews, unit review/tests, and labs at most levels. Consumable worktexts are colorfully illustrated soft covers, although newer printings are more like booklets and do not have the perfect binding and glossy covers. Not worth the money
I first started ordering Starline curriculum a few years ago because the format worked for my kids with dyslexia and other learning differences but i've consistently noticed issues with there answer keys. Sometimes the answers were completely wrong and other times the numbering in the key didn't match the number in the workbook. I've emailed them several times over the years , given them specifics on what answers were wrong etc and they responded one time with "sorry" and never once offered to send me corrected/improved answer keys. But the format worked with my kids I was willing to work around all the errors . With my most recent order however they sent me an entirely wrong answer key for the 5th grade science curriculum so I will no longer be using them and have found a new curriculum that works for us. Hopefully they will address these issues and make improvements.

I have been trying to find school books for my son that are easy to break down and cover lots of information. I really like the way this is broken down. Plus there may be a lot of books, but they are…
