Citizenship privileges and responsibilities, public opinion and politics, the media, interest groups and lobbying are also explored. Is this a secular program?

It may depend on your state and its requirements but this course will typically satisfy the requirements for a 1/2 credit in US Government. There is another course for the Economics portion.
