Publisher's Description of Little Pilgrims in God's World Activity Book
This activity book is designed as an integral part of the Little Pilgrims in God's World course. It contains the hands-on activities, map work, and removable cards referenced in the text. Young students will color, cut, build, write, and more as they complete the various activities; map work will help them learn about world geography; and the removable Bible verse flash cards and the vocabulary words and definitions cards provide the tools for the memorization games and activities.
Scripture quotes (extensive) used throughout the material are in NKJV.
The first in the Little Pilgrims series and the newest in the Christian Liberty history series replaces The American People and Nation. This title features 8 units focusing on Creation, family, church, society, community and the world. The softcover text is full color with 70 two-page lessons. One page of text is accompanied by pictures, questions, and suggested activities. Parents read the text to the child and then ask the questions orally or have the child write answers on a separate sheet of paper. "Something Else to Do" is another section that involves activities using the Bible verse that is found with each lesson. A "Further Study" section is an optional activity for additional research and study. The Activity Book includes guidelines for curriculum use and activity pages to accompany the lessons. Activities vary and may involve coloring, cutting, building, writing or playing a game. At the back of the activity book are Bible Memory cards, vocabulary cards, and map/flag pages printed on cardstock. The Teacher Manual includes lessons plans with instructions, answers to questions in the text and activity book, and vocabulary definitions. The goal of this new curriculum is to help your little one learn who he/she is in Christ in different roles. ~ Donna
