LOVE these pencils! They're beautiful and sturdy! These last much longer than Prismacolor and remind me of pencils my grandmother gave to my children but are no longer being manufactured They also make these in skin-tone Would love to see more colors!!!

These pencils are the FINAL WORD in colored pencils The colors are brilliant and they are amazingly durable I sharpen them every 2 weeks or so- and that's with 3 kids using them EVERY DAY The leads never break My 9 yo is quite an advanced artist and he loves how easy it is to build up rich color; my 3 yo also loves them because he doesn't have to push very hard to write and draw with them I use them for nature journaling I have a set that has lasted us over 5 years of daily use and they are still going strong- about half used up So even though they seem expensive at first glance they are more than worth the investment More so than the popular Prismacolor pencils which are also expensive but require lots of sharpening and get used up quickly These pencils are still made responsibly in Germany

Why did you choose this?
These have to be the highest quality color pencils that are also quite large/thick that we have ever seen. We are ordering more because our kids use them so much and have lost a few in their set.
