Category Description for Exploring Creation with Physical Science

Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Physical Science offers a rigorous middle to early high school science curriculum written from a biblical worldview. The course begins with a careful introduction to the scientific process, methods, and measurement/data collection in the first module, followed by a focus on chemistry (4 modules) and physics (6 modules). Additional chapters cover earth science (2 modules), and chemistry and physics in the life sciences. Physical Science Research concludes the course. Hands-on activities are integral to the course. A comprehensive supply list is found in the Appendix. Most of the lab equipment will be easy to source locally, although lab kits are available for your convenience. Eye protection is required. Required components include the Student Textbook and the corresponding Course Guide with tests and the answer keys. Purchase of the Textbook and/or Guide also includes online access to Book Extras, which include downloadable resources and links to helpful websites, videos, activities, and more.
