Optional, but scheduled in the lesson plans are colorful, sturdy cardstock teaching charts to help children visualize the geography, science and health concepts studied. Charts are double sided with a total of 20 visual aids, ranging from landforms and US/World maps to life cycles, anatomy and the solar system, as well as nutrition and meal planning resources. Charts 1-10 correlate with history; charts 11-27 correlate with science; and charts 28-30 correlate with nutrition and safety. Also included are perforated cut outs. The Homeschool Teaching Charts measure 8 ½" x 11".

The Abeka Grades 1 through 6 full-grade kits include Language Arts, Arithmetic, History (Geography), and Science/Health subjects. Grade level content varies, but child kits will include required reading and texts, consumables and tests, and essential instruction items. Parent kits will include lesson plans, teacher keys and solutions, and all main materials for teaching. For Grade one, select either a Child Bound Cursive or Manuscript option (the Parent Kit works with either). Each subject builds sequentially upon another. Use the Abeka® Scope and Sequence to determine appropriate grade level.
