This writing workbook is used to practice writing uppercase letters as found in the ABC See, Hear, Do Learn to Read Uppercase Letters. The pages are colorful, and each letter is represented with the corresponding animal and hand motion used to make its sound. There are three practice lines for each letter with a four-step progression. Each line begins with a complete example, followed by a ball and stick (dotted lines) example with writing direction arrows, followed by just the ball and stick, followed by only a ball for the student to write independently. Encourage your student to say the sound as they write the letter. 26 pgs, pb.

After every four letters, you will stop and have your student sound out CVC words using the letter guide to remind them of the sounds they have just learned. You will repeat that cycle until they have reached the end of level 1, having read 55 words!
