Publisher's Description of Montessori Flash Cards Division
It's a Montessori breakthrough in flashcards! Students can now see how to correct addition errors when learning and memorizing their math facts using proven Montessori methods that have helped millions of children worldwide. ShillerLearning is the first to bring this unique Montessori approach to parents and educators. May be used with or without unit cubes, for individual instruction, or as a group game.
ENHANCED LEARNING – Each card features unit cube diagrams to enhance your child’s learning experience by visualizing the problem
SELF-CHECKING – Flashcards are a fun and effective tool to help your child learn basic math
36 CARDS – This set is 36 division cards; the problem is on one side and the solution with visual explanation is on the other side
Game instructions for 2 or more players: Show a question to Player 1. The card is kept by Player 1 if Player 1 answers correctly, otherwise the card goes to the bottom of the deck. Repeat with each player until the deck is empty. The player with the most cards wins!
These flash cards allow students to see units along with the number. Students can then see how to correct errors while memorizing their facts. For example, if adding 3 and 4 there would be 3 unit cubes printed vertically below the number 3 and 4 unit cubes printed vertically below the number 4 and a blank box to represent your answer. On the reverse side of the card the same problem is printed along with the answer. Below the answer, the student will see unit cubes to represent the total. A brief explanation for solving the problem is printed on the answer side of each card.
