The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American supersonic jet that was first flown in 1974. Despite being over 45 years old, the aircraft is still in service. It has also been purchased by dozens of other countries around the world. Currently, the AM variant is being used by Ukraine to fight Russia, which this model reflects with the plane’s Ukrainian insignia.

This 1:48 scale model features movable wing flaps, a cockpit that opens, and wheels that function when the plane is rolled. A pilot minifigure and display stand are also included. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multi-role aircraft designed by the American manufacturer General Dynamics. Since 1993 it has been manufactured by the Lockheed Martin arms mega-concern. It is in service with the air forces of dozens of countries around the world. The AM version of the F-16 was manufactured in Europe on one of General Dynamics' production lines.

Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway have committed to transfer their F-16 AM aircraft to the fighting in Ukraine. Deliveries are to begin in the summer of 2024.

With 500 of the highest quality COBI construction blocks you can build the world's most popular licensed fighter-attack aircraft, the F-16® AM FIGHTING FALCON®, for the first time in history in Ukrainian colors! The set has been carefully designed in a modeling scale of 1:48. The blocks are covered with high-quality prints. The plane has two suspended powerful Storm Shadow (SCALP-EG) cruise missiles, AIM-9 SIDEWINDER and AIM-120 AMRAM missiles. The armament is detachable and can be freely configured or placed on other planes from the Armed Forces collection! The set includes a figure of a Ukrainian pilot equipped with a helmet and an oxygen mask with a hose. It has prints containing the Ukrainian flag and patches of the Ukrainian Air Force and F-16 pilots. The whole set is complemented by a block exhibition stand with a plate containing the name of the set, the national flag and the Lockheed Martin logo.

Thanks to the intuitive instructions, construction is simple and will not cause problems for less advanced builders.
