With the encouragement and slight instruction from the interactive pen,
students work on their number, counting, and recognition skills. Students will
receive immediate feedback with the use of the interactive pen through lights
and sounds. The interactive pen requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). The

Interaction
at your students’ fingertips! The Hot Dot Numberblocks combine physical books
and reading with technology. Through the interactive pen, students can interact
with the book they are reading by touching hot spots on the pages with their
pen. The pen will provide instant feedback, through lights and sounds, as to
whether answers are right or wrong. Each book is filled with activities that
students can do independently or with a parent’s guidance. Activities focus on
counting, number recognition, and simple addition and subtraction problems.
