The covers feel like fine leather, though they are only a coated cardboard. Even the soft covers feel rich in your hands. While they are pricier than a spiral notepad, how many spiral notepads get kept on a bookshelf as a keepsake? The pages are acid-free and come with either ruled pages, grid (looks like graph paper) or dotted pages (like the game where you make boxes and put your initial inside.)
