Great for all ages! Even mom
This soft fluffy planet is absolutely the best! I got this for my kids age 5-11. It is really nice, all the enjoy it. We had a normal globe that was well loved but kept falling on the floor, and broke. This one is a great replacement, as it won't break when dropped!

I love giving this gift!
This is my favorite gift for baby through preschool agers. Most parents -- at this point -- are as surprised and delighted as the recipient. Fun to play with, great to learn about world geography,
the significance of our planet and foster love for our common humanity.

Good globe alternative!
I was looking for a globe that my kids couldnt break!!! It worked!! We still own it several years later and we usually break everything. My dog even played with it a few times. We didnt find it particularly cuddly though.

Always my new baby gift
The hugg-a-planet classic is my go-to gift for new babies of friends and relatives. The colors are beautiful, the softness is so huggable, and the sentiment "welcome to our world" is always on my enclosed card. This gift is unique and very well made, and lasts forever for the babies in my life.

Bright and nicely squishy globe
Overall, we're very happy with our new fabric globe. The colors are bright and cheery, and the globe is--as promised--huggable. Our daughter loves playing toss with it, and we've had a few educational moments with it. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is that the fabric feels synthetic and not super soft. This probably is what will allow the globe to last over time, though.

This globe is so great! I can allow everyone in the house to handle it without worrying about it breaking My mom still has our Hugg-a-Planet from 30 years ago so I know it will last us It is somewhat lacking in detail but what's there is accurate so I am happy using it on a daily basis in our homeschool Do be aware that the globe is not very full of stuffing so it looks half-deflated sitting on the shelf This makes it a nice toss pillow on the sitting room couch though so I don't mind Recommended!

I struggled a lot with geography when I was in school Nothing in my home or elementary school gave me the 'big' picture of what maps meant or where in the world things were For my kids I'm trying to help them understand how the pieces fit together at a young age I'm not using a specific geography curriculum for first and second grade but instead got Hugg-a-Planet and Hugg America Whenever we read or hear about a place we find it together on the appropriate pillow When there is a map in the history curriculum we find the area that the map represents I've been pleasantly surprised by how much detail these contain I absolutely love the pillow idea! I'd already tried maps on the wall (which my husband didn't really like and always got ripped off by curious pointing fingers) and an inflatable globe (which we couldn't find when we wanted it and ended up with a leak from rough-housing with it) The pillows are perfect! They sit on the couch that I usually read on so they are always handy We don't have to get out out of our comfy reading positions in order to make use of them at teachable moments The kids can also take a nap on one or kick the world around the living room with no ill-effect! I do think that my kids are painlessly getting the big picture of maps and the world at a much younger age than I did! The ease of using these pillows as teaching tools makes it painless for me too!
