Locate the correct answer, take the numbered tile (coinciding with each question or problem) and place it on the correct letter on the tile board. When finished, simply flip the tile case and check to see if the design matches the correct shape on the workbook page. This immediate feedback allows students to self-correct, making it easy to use for independent practice. I've used Rosetta Stone materials for Italian and now German language education for myself and for 3 of my 6 children. They are virtually identical in approach and content. The younger children became frustrated rather quickly when trying to duplicate the "lilt" of the speaker. I was happy to be able to adjust the degree of "natural cadence" to match their learning level. I'm fairly fluent in German so I can pick up on their progress or challenges even listening from another room. The feature for review is particularly helpful because they can keep practicing until they are satisfied with their accomplishments.
