Taking craft stick activities into the 21st century, this project-based kit is divided into two main sections: Energy and Forces and Motion. The 44-page guidebook contains key science information to help you build successfully. Projects are formatted similarly with a supplies list, and step-by-step instructions with helpful illustrations. There are a total of 10 projects, for example: Foosball table, Newtons' Cradle, and a Marble Maze. Many projects conclude with Imagine! and Think Bigger! challenges to help students extend learning. Kit contains 100 natural craft sticks, 50 rainbow color craft sticks, 4 rubber bands, 7 marbles, 1 cork, 4 long dowels, 1 short dowel, 2 foam disks, and a foam ball. Requires numerous household items. You supply a ruler, glue and masking tape or hot glue gun/glue, scissors, waterproof markers, small objects (ex. Pompoms, erasers, cotton balls, feathers etc.), bottle cap, shoe box with lid, building blocks/clay cubes, plastic milk jug, pencil, string, construction paper, paper straw, and cardboard. Safety goggles or glasses are recommended.
