Skip this one. Not up to par with other Singapore items.
I used this book in the past to help my daughter who wasnt quite ready for all of the handwriting of numbers presented with Singapore Earlybird Math A and loved it. I just reordered it for my youngest and it is not the same book that I remember. It could be me, but many of the lessons dont even make sense. There will be a mark the one that does not belong line and all 4 animals to choose from have different things going on - the children get confused! This particular exercise was sheep - and three were gray, 1 white, all were different sizes, shaped differently and with different embellishments. It was overwhelming for a 4/5 year old. Ive browsed through it now and see many things like this - overwhelming or not obvious enough for a young child to think through - and feel as though I wasted the expense of this nonsense book.

High interest and fun for kids in Pre-K or Kindergarten. We dont write on the Textbook but each students gets their own Activity Book. They enjoy finding matches, gluing, some number writing, and other math, logic, mental, and visual skills.

My daughter and I love it!
I decided to purchase the activity book for part A since my daughter is already strong on the topics listed in the table of contents. We are going through this book fast as a review before using the textbook for part B. It is very fun. We enjoy the cut and paste activity pages, and my daughter loves the presentation. Each page is so colorful and just looks like fun to her. She is always happy when I get it out. Highly recommend.

Why did you choose this?
whats the differnce between the activity book at the textbook?
The text book explains the concepts and has a few example problems to walk your student through. The activity book contains problems to solidify the concepts learned. I go through the textbook with my child and they do the workbook on their own and ask questions as needed.
Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the manipulatives needed for Early Bird Kindergarten Mathematics? Is there a kit? How about for Primary Mathematics levels above Kindergarten?

I like this curriculum because of how it continues concepts and helps kids learn math easier.
The concrete, to pictorial, to symbolic approach has proven itself to be extremely effective for the types of learners I have at home. These books provide an excellent and thorough introduction to…
All my kids have used this curriculum. We really like it.
Starting this with my almost 5 year old and will continue in kindergarten next year. Used with my older son in kindergarten as a stepping stone into Singapore math.
