In each group there are seven puzzles which become more challenging; solutions are on the back of each card. Puzzle pieces are four different-colored blocks that are open on one end. The closed end of the puzzle has a face and one side of the puzzle has a colored pattern - dots, squares, stripes. There are four shaped pieces that can fit inside the blocks. These blocks have a face on one side that matches the face of the same color block. The reverse has a pattern that matches that of the same color block. Initially, lay out the pieces; let children play, compare, stack, and put the pieces in the blocks. This will prep children to solve puzzles. Good for all ages, but perfect for younger children working on visual/spatial reasoning, fine motor skills, coordination, matching, and more. ~ Donna
