Publisher's Description of Square Framed Game Board (18")
Bare Game Boards can be illustrated with permanent markers or stickers. Themes could be virtually anything - a book that was read as a class, the streets or popular sites in your city - you name it! Game Parts sold separately.
My son loves this blank board. He has created his own game and takes it to game parties. It's easy and other friends enjoy playing with him. The squares are perfect, making this board much more do-able than a blank one for his purposes.

My daughter wants a Snow White game. The only one that exists out there isn't really what she wants. I'm going to make my own. It was a great price for a project like this.

Can it be used for sublimation?
I had to look up what sublimation was. I found the following "Sublimation printing is only suitable for garments that include polyester (100% polyester or polyester blend)." My best guess would be that this board has no polyester. The back of the board is textured and black covering the sturdy cardboard base and coming over the outside edge of the top. The top is a white, slippery/glossy...sticker, shall we say, with the printed squares on it. The entire board folds into fourths exposing the cardboard interior edges. This is all I know. Hope something in here was helpful.

Does this come with a box to contain the game board and pieces?
No. It does not come with a box.

Is it made of very thick cardboard like those professionally made boardgame boards I.e. Monopoly?
I was pleasantly surprised. It is approximately 2-3mm thick (between 1/16-1/8" thick). The back side has a nice pebbled finish. Hope this helps.
