These handy reference pages are great tools for the math class. Each is covered with a heavy laminate and contains useful information front and back. "Cartesian Coordinate" explains the parts of the coordinate system - quadrants, x and y-axes, and coordinates. "Counting by Multiples includes the multiples of 2s, 3s, 4s and 5s on the front, and 10s, 20s, and 25s on the reverse. The multiples are listed in columns with a blank column next to the multiples for counting practice on the laminated surface. "Squares & Square Roots" includes the squares and roots for 1 through 50 on the front and 51-100 on the reverse.
Ordered this for my 9 year old son, and unlike many other puzzles, this has brought hours of enjoyment. Given that there are many possibilities, it is not a 'once solved, always solved' object. The multitude of faces provide a plethora of possibilities that create the desire for continued play.
Additionally, the cube is durable with well-printed images that seem unlikely to peel, chip or break. My son has had his for over a month and it still looks brand-new. While he has only one at the moment, he cannot wait to add another to his collection as they can also work together to form new, more complicated designs. I will certainly be ordering more as a screen-less toy that makes you think is never a bad thing!
