- What does it take to become a good man and a faithful follower of the Great King?
- A fiction book series parents can feel good about handing to their kids!
- The Scroll Saga will continue with The Shepherd and the Wolf, due to be released late 2025!
What Isaiah wants more than anything is to become a good man—like his father and his grandfather. This means holding fast to the characteristics that make a good man: Responsibility, Hardship, and Holiness. In a world that no longer values these attributes, becoming a good man may be harder than Isaiah ever imagined. While a very real battle rages across the land a spiritual battle also erupts within Isaiah. Making the decision to do what is right is not always the easiest or most popular choice. 251 pgs, pb. ~Rebecca
Isaiah yearns for manhood, yet sin tugs at him from every angle, sowing seeds of doubt about the sacred convictions inscribed in the Scroll. A sinister new weapon emerges from the shadows, prodding Isaiah and his family into an odyssey fraught with peril—a journey from which none may return.
Their path leads to an ancient castle, its timeworn stones echoing with forgotten secrets. Within those ancient walls lies the key to vanquishing their adversary, but will the followers of the Great King find it in time?
This new allegorical, Christian fiction series is written for middle school to young adult readers. The Scroll Saga series dives into the enduring storyline of good vs. evil—the people who follow the way of the Great King against the destructive, taker of life, dragons. Acclaimed to be Pilgrims Progress for today’s reader.
The first two books, The Castle and the Scroll, The Dragon and the King, follow the life and decisions of a young man named Caleb as he struggles with the loss of so much in his young life and grapples with the goodness of the Great King. As Caleb grows and matures, not only physically but spiritually, he must endure warfare as he uncovers truths for life and plots of destruction. Book three, Maiden and the Serpent, and book four, Warrior and the Code, follow the lives of two young people, still connected to our heroic Caleb, who are determined to become strong and courageous. Each story showcases a desire to know the Great King better and the battle that we join when we say “yes” to following Him. ~Rebecca
