Mastery of basic grammar facts. Independent student work. Lots of review and practice. That's what Easy Grammar provides. It's convenient and takes no teacher prep time. The general idea is to introduce grammar gently to young students (Easy Grammar Daily Guided Teaching, grades 1-2). The middle school years (grades 3-7) focus on systematic instruction and provide lots of practice to master the basics as well as daily review. The secondary years (Easy Grammar Ultimate, grades 8-12) continue daily review, coupled with some advanced instruction. The courses vary in structure at different grade levels. Grades 3-6 are similar in structure but grade-level appropriate. Easy Grammar Plus is a course that can be used either in 7th grade or as a complete grammar review for older students. Daily Grams, available for grades 3-7, supplements and complements the EG series by providing daily review.
Each grade level Teacher Edition provides bite-size lessons, student practice and assessment pages, and those same pages with answers filled in. Both the practice pages and the tests are reproducible for families. Student Workbooks include lesson and practice pages. Test Books (available for Grades 3 and up) provide pre and post tests as well as sectional tests. Grade level Sets include the Teacher Edition, Student Book and Test Book (if available for that level).
I think Easy Grammar is one of the best grammar courses available today. The material is presented very clearly, and there are plenty of exercises to help insure mastery. The only thing lacking is incorporating writing skills. I wish there were a similar program for teaching the writing process. I continue to recommend Easy Grammar to everyone I talk with.

Love Easy Grammar!
I began using Easy Grammar for my daughter in 10th grade to use for daily practice to keep grammar fresh in her mind as she has already had years of a very thorough English Grammar program. She loved it, and it was more than enough practice. My son used the same very thorough grammar program but it was too much for him to remember all the concepts and he didn't like all the writing of sentences that took so long. I decided to switch to Easy Grammar when he began 6th grade because I thought beginning middle school was the perfect time to make the transition to a new program. It was the best decision I ever made for him. He stopped struggling to remember concepts taught chapters before, and started soaring with Easy Grammar! It takes him just about 15 minutes a day on average and yet its a completely thorough grammar program!

Our Second Year
We really love the Easy Grammar Curriculum. Honestly, I'd be lost without it. Last year was our first year homeschooling and Easy Grammar came with the bundled curriculum I ordered. I had no idea what was good, or bad. This was AMAZING! Once you learn the prepositions and prep phrases, (which is SO easy), you can break down any sentence and figure out what the subject, verbs, nouns, name it, are! It makes it so EASY for the kids to figure out grammar! We loved it so much last year we are doing again this year and will continue straight through high school.
