Description

It’s your planet, and whether it thrives depends on how well you manage its growth across six different biomes.  Over four rounds, or seasons, players draw cards representing grasslands, flowers, wheat, rocks, swamps, or snow, and decide how to place lakes, trees, and bushes in them.  Each season, the sun moves and casts sunlight from a different direction.  Score points each round for small and large trees that the sunlight reaches, helping them thrive.  At the end of four rounds, score all large trees in each biome based on how fertile each of the zones are.  This is a strategic spatial puzzle game with beautiful components that challenges 1-4 players with 45–60-minute play time.

Publisher's Description of Evergreen Game
Evergreen is a tree-growing strategy game for 1-4 players where your goal is to build a lush ecosystem by planting sprouts, growing trees, and placing other natural elements on your planet, trying to make it the greenest and most fertile of all. You choose biome cards from a common pool to determine which area of your planet you'll develop in a round. The cards not chosen make those regions more fertile, and thus more valuable. To create a huge forest, you want to grow trees, plant bushes, and place lakes, while using the power of nature to gain extra actions. Ideally you can concentrate your trees in the most fertile areas, but without them overshadowing one another as you also want them to collect as much light as possible.
