just that! Contained in your blue drawstring backpack are 10 black-and-white
3.5” x 5” paper readers. There are 5 nonfiction readers covering topics like
big rigs, running, and a hen as a pet. There are also 5 fiction readers with
stories about a cat, a fisher duck, and a pug. The last page of each paper
reader is a series of brief comprehension questions to work on those skills as
well. On the back of each reader is a list of Words to Watch: phonics words,
high-frequency words, and knowledge-building words. Each reader is 16 pages

through 3rd grade include 1 blue drawstring bag, 10 readers for the
K level, and 20 readers for levels 1-3. Aligned to the Science of Reading
standards, these phonics packs have students applying their decoding skills
across a variety of genres in reading. These economical packs have small,
formatted books that are black-and-white. Books also provide word lists and
