Description
It is time to strengthen early reading skills and build students’ knowledge and language. Learning Without Tears provides these readers to do just that! Contained in your blue drawstring backpack are 10 black-and-white 3.5” x 5” paper readers. There are 5 nonfiction readers covering topics like big rigs, running, and a hen as a pet. There are also 5 fiction readers with stories about a cat, a fisher duck, and a pug. The last page of each paper reader is a series of brief comprehension questions to work on those skills as well. On the back of each reader is a list of Words to Watch: phonics words, high-frequency words, and knowledge-building words. Each reader is 16 pages long.
