In your blue drawstring bag are 10 full-color sturdy fiction decodable readers for 1st grade reading skills. Stories cover an array of topics, from fixing cars to fulfilling flower orders at Rabbit’s Nursery. Early readers will enjoy picking up these readers and reading on their own. Illustrations add to the story but do not give it away, requiring students to use their decoding skills. Each reader measures 8” x 5.5”, is 16 pages long, and includes a list of Words to Watch: phonics words, high-frequency words, and knowledge-building words.
