Description

Coloring books can be a great enhancement to your curriculum or topical introduction. This detailed coloring book about the oceans offers so much information and detail, that your children will enjoy and learn as they color. Every page offers blackline drawings to color accompanied by an explanation of the picture – gravitational pull of the moon on the tides, tectonic plates, volcanoes on the sea floor, earthquakes and tsunamis, and so much more. This isn't a coloring book for young children because the pictures include so much detail, but it offers elementary age students an opportunity to color as they learn! 46 pgs. ~ Donna

Offering realistic illustrations and easy-to-understand language, this series from Dover Books provides elementary and middle school students an excellent introduction to numerous science topics. The captions also provide foundational explanations to provide learners a basic working knowledge of the topic and a larger text for ease of reading. Using colored pencils, crayons or markers, children can color each illustration to reinforce what they have learned. Provides an excellent supplement to any science curriculum or unit/nature study to reinforce learning. Not reproducible. See individual titles for more information. ~Deanne

This book itself looks really great. It does contain several pages with evolution. If you believe in evolution you would love this fun educational coloring book. If you are looking for something that is not evolution based look elsewhere.
