Time Travel World History Heroes & Villains of History - You be the Judge
People are influencers. Some for evil and some for good. Understanding a person's family, life, beliefs, and accomplishments helps us determine the influence held over others, but more importantly being able to discern another's intent helps us appreciate the hero and safeguard ourselves from the villain. This Fun Schooling resource takes a little different approach compared to others by the same publisher. Providing students with 30 names to research and study, children will evaluate goals, occupations, family facts, accomplishments, and life impact of the person and determine if he/she was a hero or villain. A sampling of people studied include George Washington, Adolf Hitler, Walt Disney, Josef Mengele, Michael Jackson, Ruby Bridges, Charles Darwin, the Apostle Paul, Napoleon Bonaparte, and David Livingstone. Other than the names given to study, the inside of the book contains template pages to fill out. No recommended resources for research are given, which allows parents to determine the best book/video/internet resource for the age and maturity of their child. Each character studied has 4 pages of fill-in-the-blank templates to summarize the research, as well as space to draw the person. Providing a unique study of historical figures, this flexible resource allows older children and teens to create a personal book of character analysis and serves as a great starting point for researching other famous or infamous people in history. Please note, one or more of the people studied may be too intense for some children. Parents may want to use discretion is deciding what character to study. ~Deanne
Make History Exciting!
Throughout history the world has seen plenty of heroes and villains. Students love to learn about the "good guy" and the "bad guy." In this journal, kids get to be the judge and decide who is the hero and who is the villain.
Students will research over 30 different historical figures from throughout the world and the ages. For each person the student will learn about their accomplishments, family, life, beliefs, and more. After their research is over they'll decide if that person is a hero or a villain.
