Description
Each leveled set contains 12 fiction books (8 pgs each) with full-color graphics. Each set covers a guided reading level that coordinates with the publisher’s companion Fantail Reader Levels (indicated on each book’s back cover). Phase 6 introduces suffixes -s, -es, -ing, -ed, -er, -est, and prefix un-. These readers can be introduced at the end of the phase week to ensure all graphemes have been taught. ~Amber

This set of fiction Fix Its decodable readers covers the most common suffixes and prefix -un to meet the requirements of the national curriculum at Year 1. Specifically, the set includes (-s, -es, -ing, -ed, -er, -est and prefix un-). There are two titles for each. Children can identify the target affix in the text quickly as they have been highlighted to consolidate the meaning across different words. Other words included are decodable at the phase level as well as common exception words in accordance to the progression.
The set includes 12 fiction readers, each with colorful illustrations.

The Fix It Readers are decodable reading books. These are books that only contain the letter sounds a child has already learned. Texts are strictly controlled to only include words made up of the letter sounds that have already been taught in Junior Learning.
