Ant Colony Co-Operative Tunnel Building Game
The Queen has selected her cadre of loyal ants (that's you!) to build her a beautiful new tunnel for the colony. But beware: anteaters lurk above the surface, making it increasingly difficult to complete the tunnel! Play begins with a shuffled batch of square tiles, placed face-down for all players to use. Each turn, players draw a tile and add it to the 6x7 board, gradually creating a tunnel fit for the Queen. Most tiles contain different shapes of tunnels, but underground obstacles and the dreaded anteaters often throw a wrench into the works! The ultimate goal is to create a tunnel with 2 unblocked entrances to the surface and all 4 extra special "Ant Room" tiles. But if this becomes impossible to do at any time, all players lose! Overall, a solid game for kids to learn cooperation and a little bit of strategy with a science/nature twist. For 2-6 players.
Ant Colony is loads of cooperative fun. Players must overcome obstacles as they work together to build an ant colony. Just watch out for hidden rocks, angry beetles, and pesky anteaters!
