Lewis and Clark Exploration Card Game
Join Lewis, Clark, York, Sacagawea, and her son Jean Baptiste Charbonneau (affectionately called "Pomp") in their famous expedition of 1804-1806! Explore the wildlife, plants, flowers, people, and food the Corps of Discovery encountered during their historical trek westward to the Pacific Ocean. Included are 56 exploration cards, a trail map poster (18" x 24"), stickers, and instructions. Each exploration card is numbered, categorized, and dated. The cards bear an illustration of the discovery, the name of discovery, and a brief but informative description. There are directions on how to play two different games for 2-4 players. In Lewis & Clark Rummy Twist, be the first player to "go out" by collecting groups of three or four cards from the same category. For example, four reptile cards and three coastal Indian tribe cards would make a winning hand. In Lewis & Clark Trail, gather any five sequential cards following the route of Lewis & Clark. Young explorers can line up all of the exploration cards in numerical order and create their own expedition trail! Once they have completed the journey's sequence with cards, they can compare it to the poster.
