This is a no-nonsense grammar review - that just happens to be correlated to the Common Core State Standards for grades 6-12. The book is divided into four units Vocabulary, Sentences, Grammar/Usage, and Capitalization/Punctuation/Spelling. A Check What You Know section to be completed prior to using the book highlights the areas in which the student needs targeted work. Each unit has its own review, and there are Check What You've Learned (review) and Using What You've Learned (application) sections at the end. Worksheets (perforated) provide practice exercises following a brief instructional sequence and examples. All answers are provided.
