Publisher's Description of Baby Love Dragon

History

Although oral legends of the Love Dragon date back thousands of years, the first written records come from a squire of one of the knights of the round table. His master fell deeply in love, and that love was requitedthe two pledged unending faithfulness. From that moment, the squire reports, a small Love Dragon could always be seen near the lovers.

Story

True love has its own special kind of magic, and this magic is thought to be what creates a Baby Love Dragon. When the most faithful of lovers profess their unending love, a Baby Love Dragon is said to appear in a flash of light and color.

Texts and inscriptions from all over the world tell of a special protection around those who professed the deepest of love. Even when Baby Love Dragons aren't visible, their calming effects can be felt.

Category Description for Safari Dragons Collection

If you've seen many pictures of dragons, you probably know that everyone's perception is a little different. I think they are big reptiles that have 4 legs, claws, teeth, 2 wings, reptilian eyes, a long tail and spikes on their backs. Some dragons look quite different, though; there are dragons that look like roosters (cockatrices), ones that have human faces, ones that are a mixture of several different animals, and ones that leave you with a confused "What is THAT!?" Safari's version of Chinese dragons are FANTASTIC. The purple one is very, very bright, the end of its tail looks like icy fire, and it's fit to be in any emperor's palace. The blue dragon is a more natural looking one, an able creature and a wise teacher. Also check out the Dragon Toobs for more cool-looking little dragons. Any dragon lover would like to have a few of these creatures to keep them company. Dragons below measure 7" long and 4" high. ~ Janine
