Available from the publisher at no cost is the Digital Teacher Guide, which provides a weekly schedule, activity worksheets and handouts, guidelines for writing assessments, and more. The Write Ahead Student Handbook provides lessons for grades 9 and 10, and, where appropriate, two levels of assignments are given: intermediate (grade 9) and advanced (grade 10).
The optional, consumable Write Ahead SkillsBooks teach punctuation, grammar, mechanics, usage, and spelling for Grade 9 and Grade 10. Teacher Guides (answers only) are sold separately. We have used and enjoyed the other books in this series.They are a little less formal than some other options and work well in combination with more rigorous writing programs.
