Hi, my name is Heidi, and i am a homeschool mom. I purchased the Daily Comprehension book and I really like it. The instructions from Monday through Friday are simple to understand and follow. The stories that my son is reading are interesting and leave us with conversation beyond the questions in the book. This is my sons first year of homeschooling and I have found that in the school he was attending from kindergarten through 5th grade he hasn't learned how to discuss things. Schools focus more on memorization for tests rather than critical thinking. With this Daily Comprehension Book my son is learning to have more of a dialogue with me about what he is reading.
I highly recommend this book.
Blessings,
Heidi

This turned out to be his favorite activity in 4th grade. So we ordered it for 6th grade this year.
The daily assignments with intentional focus on different topics gives my kids a new perspective (story) to apply the same learning points. And the stories are fun and interesting!

My children need some extra reading comprehension. I like the layout. Not too long for daily practice. Yet enough to challenge them.
