This resource provides a day brightening way to practice vocabulary and spelling with your elementary students. Mom’s will also be encouraged to add a little love along the way. One side of the page has a highlighted word with its definition, part of speech, pronunciation, etc. At the bottom there are often cute riddles related to the word, or quotes by famous people. On the other side there is another encouraging thought or quote. Written by Tracy West who is the executive director of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, her professional job is to help kids learn words they need to succeed in life. As a mom, she shares an encouraging story of her own desire to be a “dream mom” and how this book can help other moms give their kiddos an encouraging nugget each day.
