Description

Part of the Studying God’s Word Series, students study the Old and New Testaments in this worktext. The 36 lessons have a 5 day a week schedule. On Day 1, students read a Bible story and answer questions. Day 2, students read the actual Bible passages for the week and answer questions. Day 3 has students completing fun activities such as a word search, maze, unscrambling words, or decoding a verse. Along with these exercises, there are two or three “thought questions” that give students the opportunity to apply the principles of the lesson to their lives and a discussion time with you the parent. On Day 4, students might read a Bible passage, do a map study, or some other exercise, depending on the week. Students review on Day 5 and take a quiz. During each week, students usually read around one chapter of the Bible. New King James Version is the translation used for the scriptures. If you have multiple children and desire to do a Bible study together, this would be a good option because it is an overview covering Creation, the Fall, Judgement, and Redemption, as well as other biblical truths. The subsequent levels begin to study the Bible chronologically. The quiz packet and answer key are sold separately. ~ Gina
