Publisher's Description of Hidden Picture Puzzles: At the Zoo
Bust out your binoculars! Hidden Picture Puzzles at the Zoo is filled with 50 black and white hidden puzzle pictures, all from inside the zoo. With more than 400 secret items and animals for children to find within each illustration, from cute monkeys to tough lions, they'll be on the prowl for hours! They'll also learn while they play by reading the mini fun facts in the margins that are all about zoo animals. These black and white pages double as coloring activities, so go wild! Author and illustrator Liz Ball has over 3,000 hidden pictures published in more than 150 newspapers, magazines, and publications both across the U.S. and internationally. Her work has also been recommended by doctors, teachers, and parents to help improve eye coordinating, spatial skills, memory retention, and concentration. A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, she is a frequent speaker at schools, libraries, and writers' conferences.
Find the pictures within the pictures in this classic puzzle series from the makers of Highlights magazine. Each puzzle consists of 12-20 miscellaneous items carefully concealed in a black line drawing. Picture word clues shown around the outside of the puzzle show the items to be found. These are a handy workbook size, so you can take them anywhere. All you need to work these puzzles is a pencil or pen, so Hidden Pictures are ideal for long car trips, doctor visits, and other times it's hard to keep your kids occupied.
These washable markers are terrible! Yes they are washable but they are terrible dry erase markers The colors don't show up well and the ink flakes off the board making a big mess I will stick with the non-washable variety
