The student packet includes all the phonogram, sound, rule, and word cards along with the new full-color activity book, custom stickers, and additional suffix tiles needed for this level. The activity book includes over 200 pages with a variety of activities and Word Banks! Advanced Application sections give older students who need more of a challenge the opportunity to engage in new concepts with higher-level, multisyllable words. Full-color pull-out posters with spelling rules feature the hero character from each level. A “Progress Chart” and “Certificate of Completion” are also included.
Because this program builds on the previous level, most students begin in Level 1. There is, however, a placement test available to help you decide where to begin. To get started with this program, you will need to purchase the letter tiles and review box (which now includes the divider cards) separately. This is only a one-time purchase to use with all the levels. If you have used the first edition of All About Spelling, you can move on to the next level of the color edition without a problem. The first edition teacher’s manual, however, will not work with the new color edition activity book. Each additional student will need a separate student packet and review box. ~ Gina
