This book could be great prewriting practice for the youngest learner to work on basic pencil skills needed to be able to write letters and numbers. Fun and colorful pictures with “trails" to trace pose the possibility of helping your child not only practice pencil to paper skills but boost their imagination as well. A few examples are “Flying Over the Rainbow", “A Day at the Zoo" and “A Path to the Castle". As usual, this Kumon book has nice quality pages and an attractive cover. ~ Judy

I must say that these are very nice looking workbooks. Each 80-page workbook is printed on high-quality paper made especially for children learning how to write. The cute, highly-detailed illustrations, which are gorgeously colored, are also rather appealing. Looks aside, these workbooks are designed to encourage self-acquisition of skills. The Kumon approach of incremental mastery also fosters increased self-confidence in children. ~ Anh
