This is a lovely educational series of readers, featuring a variety of scientific topics in an easy format for youngsters to understand. The books feature the colors black, white, and one vibrant color for inside pages. The vibrant color is used for picture illustrations and to highlight certain text. I feel like the color helps the reader stay a bit more focused, without being too distracting for young readers. Each book is separated into chapters by topic. This series takes advanced topics and explains them in such a way that puts them on the bottom shelf. I feel like even I learned a few things reading through them! The metric system is used when referencing measurements, such as temperatures and distances. ~ Brianna
