Category Description for Level 2 R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey

R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey Level 2 teaches science to middle and high school students through well-written text, colorful images and diagrams, hands-on labs, and research projects. Lessons are incremental and are designed to challenge students to use their critical thinking skills, make connections, and conduct independent research. Each course centers around three books: the Textbook, Teacher Guide, and Workbook (or the Stargazer’s Notebook for Astronomy 2). Unlike the previous level, R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey Level 2 Textbooks are written to the student to encourage independent learning. Textbooks are abundantly illustrated with diagrams and photographs. Each course has a Teacher Guide with answers and teaching support. Course workbooks (or the Stargazer’s Notebook) are vital resources for completing activities and documenting responses. R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey Astronomy 2 and Earth & Environment are considered companion courses for one year of science instruction. For your convenience, we offer Lab Kits from Home Science Tools.
